Ubiquiti Networks NBE-M2-13 NanoBeam M 2.4GHz 13dBi High Performance airMAX Bridge
Operating on the 2.4 GHz frequency, the Ubiquiti Networks NBE-M2-13 NanoBeam M 2.4GHz 13dBi High Performance airMAX Bridge is designed to offer enhanced wireless connectivity when used as a wireless client or in a point-to-point environment. This wireless bridge utilizes TDMA (time division multiple access) technology to ensure a stable and reliable connection that is capable of providing high speeds over long distances. In addition to TDMA support, the airMAX Bridge features intelligent QoS functionality to ensure high bandwidth tasks such as voice and video applications have the necessary network resources to operate smoothly.
Once installed, network administrators can take advantage of a variety of software applications to manage the network. With airOS it is possible to manage various aspects of the network itself from naming devices to MAC address permissions and much more. With airVIEW admins can utilize the included spectrum analyzer and see energy shown in real time and review a variety of reports. To provide an overall view of the entire network, airControl supports features including a network map, device status, the ability to mass upgrade firmware, and much more.
airMAX Technology
Unlike standard Wi-Fi protocol, Ubiquiti’s Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) airMAX protocol allows each client to send and receive data using pre-designated time slots scheduled by an intelligent AP controller.
This time slot method eliminates hidden node collisions and maximizes airtime efficiency. It provides significant performance improvements in latency, throughput, and scalability.
Intelligent QoS-Priority is given to voice/video for seamless streaming
Scalability-High capacity and scalability
